Load up the Syringe

"Me fearing what I'm facing, what possible good is it going to do for me? How is that going to benefit me?" Williams said in a recent interview. "If it's my time to be executed, what's all the ranting and raving going to do?"

This is the statement made by one Tookie Williams, founder of the infamous street gang the Crips. The vicious cancer that spread from humble beginnings in 1971 to a blood thirsty killing machine made up of young inner city youth. Well now he's going to the gallows in about an hour and people like Snoop Dog, Jessie James & Jamie Foxx are all yelling about saving him. This made me curious and I looked up his case, allegedly killing 4 people in cold blood, a crime he says that he did not commit and in my opinion it looks murky and very possible that he did do the dirty deeds. He didn't nor hasn't apologized but he has managed to write children's books and oh yes he has spoken out against the gangs and he's written books to dissuade kids from joining gangs and they nominated him for a Noble Peace Prize. Ok and there it is, we should preserve this life, guess what Tookie, seems like no one was listening, especially the ones you wanted to reach the most, gang violence is up this year and it don't look like its gonna stop.
You managed to extinguish 4 lives, for which you've yet to apologize for, so now you're on your last stop outta here off the planet, I wish I could feel sorry for Mr. Tookie, and his messy life that led him down the path to where he is now, maybe I'd feel differently one day in another year but I think about the people whose lives were stolen over 20years ago, I'm sure they begged fruitlessly for their lives too, lives that meant something to their loved ones, lives that hadn't infringed on others, or harmed. Lives just trying to live out this life, lives that were unceremoniously cut down with out and singing or "stays" of execution. That your life is going to be clinically taken in the most sterile of deaths - lethal injection - is too kind. God speed Tookie, but here's one sista that ain't buying your story - get the syringe ready 'cause Tookie will be taking a trip to the Elysian Fields in a few.
